Former Andrew and Ericsson Exec as CEO
MELBOURNE, Fla.(VENTUREWIRE)
-- SkyCross, a developer of antenna technology, appointed former Andrew
Corp. executive Alan L. Haase as CEO of the company and a member of
the board of directors. Mr. Haase replaces Chris Morton, chairman
of the board and acting CEO since the company's founding in May 2000.
Most recently Mr. Haase served as group president for communication
products at Andrew Corporation; he has also held executive positions
at Ericsson North America. Mr. Haase received an MBA from the University
of Texas at Dallas, a master's degree in electrical engineering from
Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science from Lawrence
Technological University. In September 2000 SkyCross closed its first
round of funding at $9 million, led by BankBoston with participation
from MILCOM Technologies.
