Retained Search Project (2000)

We were engaged by Technology CrossOver Ventures www.tcv.com in the Fall of 2000, after this Silicon Valley client made an investment in the Company to recruit an industry-specific senior sales executive. We accepted the assignment under very aggressive time constraints because, due to our highly specialized practice, we felt we could deliver very quickly (S-1 was already filed, and road show for the IPO had begun before we were retained on this search to replace one of the largest international search firms who had been working on it for 3 months). *We succeeded in filling this critically important position in one (1) week.

The S-1 filing was subsequently shelved due to market conditions, and will be considered once again when the timing makes sense.

Completed Search:

We delivered a P&L level Wireless/Telecom Software Sales executive who brought professional sales & services management to an extremely fast growth, technology-oriented company, and is currently inking deals during a very difficult period in the software industry.
